I am currently exploring digital drawing and digital/ traditional presentation - to include print, projection and digital screen. Using a pressure sensitive digital pen and tablet I am working on large drawings with an identical digital ‘canvas’ size (1016 x 1372 mm) to the drawings I produce using ballpoint pen or pencil on a physical surface. I am also doing test drawings on a smaller scale. The drawings take as long to execute as the physical drawings (the largest up to 400 hours) and the process is identical. Any outcome will initially be at a fixed size - identical to the size of the digital drawing and will include digital and traditional print methods. Research is related to issues of surface, process, terminology, value and audience encounter.
